Note:  exact location not give to protect property owners.

Been driving by this site for years now, the existing house confused me as it looks like the original home.  Well that is because it is, they moved it for road construction reasons.  The original location shows up on the old plat map for the area.  So me and my detecting buddy drove out there one sunny weekend day and approached the owner and asked for permission.  Super nice guy and he allowed us to hunt the place, knew a bunch of history about it and that the house he now lived in had been relocated to its current resting place.  He had said the property was just hunted but the person hadn't found a lot.  Well we found some really nice relics.  My prized relic is a spoon that has been initialed by the original family.  The L.A.M. most likely stands for Lester Albert Minderhout the son of this family, or it could be the married name of the Daughter who was referred to as Mrs. L. A. Andriense.  Hard to say some times :)
